How do I get WinXP drivers in Win2k?

I have a Panasonic KX-P2135 printer but the drivers for it are Win98/Win3. 1 & they do not work in Win2k/WinXP. Now the server we have is Win2k (which is where all the shared resources, shared printers, etc; etc.

no boot.ini to edit

My comp dosent have a boot. ini file at all to edit. I want to remove a XP reference from what would normally be the boot. ini file so now what do i do?.

intranet question

sorry, didn't know what area this belonged: i've been asked to research a possible intranet for our company. we only have 16 employees, so we're rather small. does anyone know of a good, easy to use intranet software.

When i send by Email an appointement or something like that (to another user) some time it propose him the appointement and so time (on another computer with the same configuration) outlook have an attachement but it s don't install the appointment Station : WINDOWS 2000 or XP Outlook 2002 Is there a configuration ????

cd drive "not ready" + burner install question

Hi all, about 3-4days ago my cd drive started giving me a message that it's not ready with options to re try or cancle I've not changed anything on my comp lately that I can think of. I did get a cleaning cd (with the little fuzzy thing on it) and a can of air to blow it out.

NT security event logger not showing failed attempts

Our PDC is not logging all failed logon attempts any longer. It used to log any attempt by anyone to logon to the network if it failed due to bad user name or bad password. Now it only logs failed attempts if you try to logon to the network at the PDC, but not for clients who try to logon.

Sound card is broken?

My speakers were plugged into the back of my computer where the sound card is. The sound card is integrated and I thnk it's somewhat busted. First, the sound only comes from one speaker while the other has sound but it's very quiet.

Buzzing sound coming from system...

I have a friend whos powersupply went in her system. We found her a new case with a P4 powersupply, and made the transition. After getting everything in the new case, we tried it out. As soon as we plugged in the powercord, a buzzing started.

rite i was wondering {as always} is it possible to put a button on the taskbar of IE to link to a website? i know there is the favourites link but i would like to make a couple of buttons for some regular sites i visit! is it poss? if so could someone help me !! thanks very much in advanced

where did the uninstallers go?

Opened Add or Remove Programs in Xp home to do some cleaning and out of 30+ proggies that were there a few weeks ago, now only 6 are listed. Of those six only 1 has the change/remove button. I checked all my progams and they all work fine and the uninstallers are in place for most of them but not all.

What's the point of File & Printer Sharing?

I was able to share file resources without having the Files & Printer Sharing service installed, I have yet to test this with printers but I was curious as to why this is even there? Is this for sharing over the internet or what?

i have scoured the net about performance differences with hyperthreading on and off. . . some say ya, some say no. . . seems to me that maybe overall it might perform better with it off. . . anyone agree?.

i got pc accelerator 2004 and ive tried many other xp booster programs and this one actually made a noticable difference, my interenet was actually faster and programs loaded instantly, but for some reason it decreased my benchmark scores.

A bit about this LAN system I have a 4 PC LAN system that I am trying to get working. This system used to be run on Win98SE which I knew very well & had no problems with getting to work, however, I decided it was finally about time we got with the times & upgraded everything so that's what I am doing now.
