Hi, I know it's an old game, but I still love it. But it just won't install under Windows 2000. It gives me an error Message that says: NFS4 can only be installed under Win95 and 98 Is there anything, that can provide the compatibility, like an emulator or a patch or something.

Explorer window opens on each start

I get a 'explorer' window that opens to 'My Documents' each time I bootup! I close it, but each time it still opens. I think I remember seeing this long time ago, but surely don't remember where. I'm running 2k w/sp4 with no auto anything (updates, etc.

i found this cool game i used to play, im currently running windows XP so when i go and put the cd into the drive and i get a message that titles Installation Aborting and it says This product does not yet support Windows NT.

I got a Linksys Auto Sensing Switch with 5 ports. What I have connected is the ADSL Modem, one desktop, one laptop and one Xbox. From modem to switch is a crossover cable while switch to desktop, laptop, and Xbox are all normal patch cables.

I have tried installing Microsoft. NET Framework on 2 different computers, 1 is Windows XP the other is Windows 2000. I get a regsvc (remote registry editing proggy) problem on both computers. Any suggestions?.

I'm using a 4 port NAT router to access the net; I want to add an another port and would like to use another NAT router connected to the LAN side of the existing one. It'll only be for a couple of months until I take the router with me to use on another broadband modem.

ok a win 98 computer has just updated internet explorer and outlook express however. . . . it now wont disconnect after send and recieve in Outlook Express also when i used to close the last internet explorer window it would say its gonna disconnect afa 30secs but it doesnt do that either!! can anyone tell me why? ...

friend's laptop running xp has boot issue after updating

tried to find out what's causing this. she booted into safe mode. things work there. found out there's no virus. used safe mode to remove all items from starting up in normal mode. still have the issue.

Hi, weird question. I'm finding files and whole directories locked as read only in properties. I haven't assigned them the attribute and I change them back- next time I look they're RO again. These are just general files, txt, doc, jpg, etc, not system files, btw.
