Just built my new 2600+ Mobile system, what do you think of my results?

ok update got the system built and running the 2600+ @ 200x12. 5=2500ghz @1. 80 stable. here is my 3dmark2001SE score 3dmark2003 I cant seem to get stable if I try to bump the FSB up above 200.

Hello people! I just bought a a SB 4. 1 Digital PCI soundcard, so i could use my PcTronix subwoofer and surround speakers (2x surround, 2x front, 1x bass) with it. . . but when i try to connect it, just 1 set of speakers sound! =S.

shared folders asks for login authentication

i just finished setting up a LAN. i shared one folder using simple filesharing/networking. when i tried to access it from another pc, it asks for a login/password. how come? i didn't assign any login/password to that shared folder.

This is something that always been bothering me. I just want to make certain that the services below (see screenshot) are running on the correct priority thread. Personally I don't see why these services have to run at high or above high.

Weird problem with Audigy 2 card.

Hi, all. I'm having an odd problem with an SB Audigy 2 (OEM) sound card in a TUV4X mobo (Via chipset). Most of the time the system is playing sounds, there is a loud pop every 31 seconds coming from the card.

I recently had to re-format my root partition and to reinstall Win2K/SP3 and my apps from scratch. The process went fine, I got Windows/SP3 re-installed, then installed Norton Internet Security again (Norton firewall which includes Norton Antivirus).

hard drive size limit?

What is the drive size limitation in windows 2000 pro? I just installed a maxtor 160gb HD in my file server and it only shows 130gb. Is this a limitation of the operating system or the motherboard? The motherboard is an old epox dual slot 1 with a single plll.

Red Baron 3d by Dynamix. After install sound works. . . After game restart. . . No sound!!!!! I love this game and this stinks. There has to be a reason for this issue. The install program runs a system test and plays a Digital Wave file.

I'm currently setting up a computer for a friend. It's only a 486-66, but he wanted stability over compatibility so I'm installing NT 3. 51 SP5. My question is, what basic programs will actually run on the O/S? My friend wants AIM (ugg), and IE/OE, so I want to know which versions will work on 3.

We have to have Outlook running all the time for reminders & whatnot but we hate having Outlook minimized too, is there anyway to minimize Outlook to the system tray (systray)? We're using Office XP 2002.

cannot access user folder of old installation

I needed a fresh install but can't erase my harddrive cause I had so much I needed on there, so i reinstall on the same hard drive, partition but in a differant folder, and when I try to access the folder for my old user in documents and settings it says: c:/documents and settings/mjollnir1 is not accessable.
