Running old MAC version of game on XP

I recently found my old mac version of day of the tentacle and have read in numerous places that this can be run on XP using SCUMM. I was wondering if anyone who has had success with doing this would be kind enough to share how they did it.

Ok. I recently had Windows 98, but I deleted everything on my pc, and reinstalled Windows XP Home. Basically, starting from scratch all over again. During the setup of Windows XP I was asked would you like to convert FAT32 to NTFS ?.

HELP! No password dialog at login! (xp)

This morning I turn on the computer (Windows XP pro /w SP1) and it loads until it gets to the nice blue screen, with the XP logo. . . but the dialog box, where I'm supposed to enter my password, doesn't come up! So the computer is just stuck and I can't log into windows! Same thing happens in safe mode.

Hey, ages ago I downloaded a little utility that you could run on a computer and it would block chat programs like MSN, Yahoo, AIM. . . it would simply stop them running on a computer. To turn it off again you just ran the application again and it switched off.

Running Civ 2 on W2000

Hi there, Just discovered this site. . . hopefully it can help with some long term game problems I'm trying to run Civ2 on windows 2000, and I have installed WinG and the Indeo drivers. When I try to play I get the error in IR41.

Problem with .INI File in .MSI Package

Hello, One of the software products that I am trying to create an MSI package for uses its own INI file in the Windows directory. The problem is that if a copy of this INI file already exists (from an older install of the same product) the MSI will not touch it.

How to install Windows XP on RAID 0 without a floppy drive?

I have seen a similar topic before right here but i can't find it with the new looks of the site!!! I want to install Windows XP Pro on a Promise Fasttrack s150 TX4 controller Raid, but as you know it needs the drivers (press F6 to install drives), but i don't have a floppy drive and Windows Setup can read drivers ...

XP forgets video settings on reboot

Ok, everytime I reboot my machine, my video settings get reset to 640x480x256. I then can change it to 1280x1024. But, the next time I reboot, back to the defaults. I have an ATI Radeon 9700, lastest drivers.

Coversion from FAT32 to NTFS

I converted my slaved Western Digital 200GB from FAT32 to NTFS using Partition Magic 8. Now in the root directory I can only open 1/3 of the folders that appear to be there. I have tried deleting the inaccessible folders and this also does not work.

I need help runnin Directx 9.0

my Sis driver version won't let Directx 9. 0 run (it only supports up to directx7) The sis website was no help but they do probably have what I want if I knew what it was called. My E-mail is schwaleon@yahoo.
