Problem with str bios function

Well i have gigabyte via kt 333 motherboard with ati 9100 vivo graphic card and amd 2000+ procesor problem is: when i enable str (system to ram) stand by method my graphic card freezes itself and i have to restart computer.

Hey all! I'd first just like to say that I've been lurking in this forum for at least a year or two and I've learned quite a bit from all of you friendly active posters. My problem is that as of about a week ago, my main Windows XP machine takes forever to shut down or log off.

i posted the other day bout my windows 98 internet problem and i got this as a reply: I've seen this happen to W98 when 1) AOL messes up the TCP/IP connections, 2) an old version of Ad-aware removes a registry key disabling IE and 3) when a virus, trojan or BHO has attached itself.

I don't know what is wrong with my computer. I have Windows xp & when i turn my computer off & it does go off, within 5 min. when i come back it restarted itself. I have uninstalled Roxie & that still hasn't fixed the problem.

personally I just make a copy of the whole folder in C:\Documents and Settings\%user%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\ and copy it to my backup drive before I do a format then after I just copy the folder back and I have all my messages.

Hi Yesterday I caught a file named CoronaWmiLogFile reside in my C: directory. I become suspicious since i never met this file before ( before this i formatted my pc several times ). I try to delete it but it can't.

Heck, I say bring back the custom installation options from the 9x product family, so I can prohibit the installation of IE, at least as much as possible. After all, BITS can be used to get Windows Updates from an SUS/WUS server, so no need for IE for Windows Update(s).

With Windows 98 I used my Soundblaster to configure midi sounds to multiple outlets (SB Live Out to my midi piano, and SB Live Synth to the internal card midi instruments. Thus I could configure both Live synth and Live Out to play together as midi arrived off net, or from selected midi play-lists.

Add a meta refresh after login/logout?

Can you add a meta refresh after logging in, and after logging out? It seems redundant to have to click on the link to return to the home page after both login/logout. Also, what is the session timeout? After how many minutes is a user automatically logged out? Thanks.

I installed then unistalled NAV. I then installed AvastAntivirus now it's telling me it can't its services because NAV is already running. I check the startup folder, services, deleted NAV folder, emptied the recycle bin and restarted.

cable modem firmware update
