Ghosting Win2000 Advanced Server to a Raid 5 Array

My W2K Advanced Server currently runs on a simple IDE drive. I am upgrading the storage to a Raid 5 system (Promise adapter) I want to Ghost my current OS to the Raid array, so that we won't have to re-install the OS.

Multi-home PC in two domains - how does DNS lookup work?

I have dual-NIC PCs that are within two domains, each domain with its own DNS servers. How is the order determined by Win2k when performing a DNS lookup? The problem is a lookup failure when the PC is trying a web connection to a node that is in domain B.

I have a Ms sidewinder force feedback wheel GAMEPORT VERSION. The software that came with it (ver 3. 0) doesn't work with w2k. I tried installing the wheel in game devices in control panel and it worked.

DNS server not working for external access?

Hi, I have a full W2K Server Active Directory running on my network and lately for the last few days, all of a sudden, AD will lose Internet connection. Basically, the box is also handling DNS queries and DHCP.

I recently purchased an ATI All in Wonder 128 Video card and I downloaded the newest drivers from the website and the newest version of the Multimedia center and after attaching the AV In Composite and attaching some components to it I found out that it doesn't show anything on the TV when they are plugged in.

Personally I like WinRAR because I download a lot more things that come in. RAR format than. zip format ( i do a lot of newsgroup downloading), I also like the way WinRAR works compared to WinZIP because Winzip you need external programs if you run into a non-recognized format.

i have mcafee virus scan 7 professional when i install it an run it it is fine when i update it and then run it it fails and gives me an appcompat. exe error. what do i need to do to fix it \ i have tried the uninstall recommended by mcafee and reinstalled but it didn'twork for me.

I think something must be wrong with the installer or something because when I try to install the game, it says it cannot find manhunt. cab and the goddamn file is sitting right there on the CD! I even opened the file in XP and I was able to see all of the files inside of it and even extracted some of them just to ...

When Midtown Madness (1, not 2) was installed on my new computer running windows XP, I ran into a serious problem. Every part of the game ran fine, except for keyboard control. It takes the game a very long time to react to keyboard controls, and it behaved very erraticly.

Firewire to Videocam problem

Hi, I use a Dazzle Firewire card to capture and edit video. Everything works perfect until I try to dump the video back to the camera. The camera doesn´t receive any video, some frames show up, then freezes up, then blank frame, etc.
