Blood Omen under Windows 2000

I have a problem with blood omen under windows 2000. When i install the game it says that i haven't enough free space on the hard disk so i must operate the minimum installation. When I try to launch it all that i see is a black screen.

I get this message when I boot: Invalid boot. ini file Booting from c:\winnt\ I looked under System Properties/Advanced/Startup & recovery and find the drop down box for operation systems blank! I looked at the boot.

Apple Pro USB Keyboard in Win2k

I saw in the NT-compatible hardware-index, that the Apple Pro Keyboard should work in Windows 2000 without any tweaking at all, but elsewhere I've read that since the Alt+Gr button is missing you won't be able to do these characters: {}|~@£$.

Can't Load Quake 2 Mission Packs!

Hey all, I can't for the life of me get the mission packs for Quake 2 to install on Win2k. Every time I go to install them they both come back with: _INS5176_MP. EXE has generated errors and will be closed.

Can't Login

While installin the sims, the installation quit and it gave me the blue screen of death. . . . and then the only thing I could was restart. So guess what I DID! RESTARTED!! and im on windows XP HOME.

Deletion of old user folder

I recently reinstalled WinXP over an older install and found that my old user directory under 'Documents and Settings' was till there after the rebuild. Problem is I can no longer open/explore/delete this directory and I want to get rid of it.

Hi there, i am new to this forum and new to the pc too. i have a nvidia geforce 64mb tv out card. i connected my pc to the tv with a s video cable. i cannot hear sound from the tv. what could be the problem.

how do i reset my hardware config?

ive been having some trouble with my drivers not installing properly, and i think its being caused by bad settings being left in the registry. so, is there a way to completly reset the driver configuration? i seem to recall reading somewhere that there is some way to do this easily.

Hey, In the past I've had many problems with counter-strike on my computer. Most of them were caused by the new version Steam and CS 1. 6. Now I want to play version CS 1. 5 since there are still servers up and running.

I have bought the motherboard Elitegroupe N2U400-A with a processor AMD XP +2700 last week. After installing Win Xp SP1 and the CD provide from the motherboard, no aduio or sound is detected from my earphone.

Hello I've got some problem with this game on Windows 2000. When I start a game, i see a background of menu, but i don't see a text on it, i mean new game and bla bla. In a list of compatible games on Windows 2000, this game is listed and marked as no problem with runing but on my computer it doesn't work.

How do i adjust the computers brightness other than the wheels on the monitor? I've don eit before but i forgot where the location was. . . it controls the gamma and whatnot. . . hopefully someone knows what i am talking about.

Trouble running Populous 2 under Win2k

Found the old game Populous 2 that I used to love but can't get it to run under Win2k. I've tried setting the memory parameters like the included pdf manual states but still no go. Anyone out there been able to get Pop2 running in Win2k or NT4?.

Am I the only one who thinks Win ME sucks?

I bought the promo upgrade to ME from Win98 only. TONS of problems. Tried a clean install, still problems. More crashes than 98, more blue screens. When I found out that Win2k supported all my apps except for a few dos games, I jumped ship.
