64Bit XP Trial Problems.

I recently downloaded the 64bit XP. iso and burned it to disk so I could set up 64bit XP. Only it didn't go as planned. I'm running an AMD 64 3200+ 2. 2 ghz proccesor with a 250gb Matxtor maxline II SATA harddrive.

Pod Racer not liking sound file changes, any ideas?

I've tried altering (silencing via sound recorder in accessories) 2 wav sound files (a very common looping sound file that is rather uncessessary sound-cue wise) so that I could play with windows media player playing music in the background, while still hearing the rest of the games audio.

Hey, can anybody help me?? I have just purchased a used copy of C&C and installed it but all I get when I try and run it is a black screen which shuts off back to the desktop when I hit escape. I also put in the patch but that doesnt help.

OK its like this. I cant seem to install forsaken. Ive tryed to install directly from the cd, and Ive tryed copying the cd to the harddrive. See I keep getting this error that says this: - C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.

Can't play anything, everything freezes up

Okay, i got my HD reformatted, and my pc is going absolutley great. Except for the fact that when i play any game (Ragnarok Online for example) , I can't hear any music, and anytime i exit the game, my computer freezes! Would it have to do with my Video Card? Someone please help me out.

I was just browsing the web when suddenly the display went all screwed up and the comp froze. So i turned off the computer and tried to restart but when i did this the computer would start but the monitor would not turn on.

I have 3 pc's in my home sharing the dsl 1. 5/128 bandwidth using a dlink 4 port router. 2 pc's have windows 2000 sp4 wich one is mine and other has windows xp home edition. The other 2 pc's the users use it for browsing the net and one uses kazza also and limewire.

I was wondering if there is a way in Windows XP SP1 to make startup profiles. For example, say I wanted the best performance in Doom 3, so I'd have a Gaming profile that would just have basic services, so I would have more free RAM, and then I'd have another profile Normal that would load all of my normal services.
