usb PROBLEM

my usb devices are not working and i dont really know why. i have 2 gamepads that are different brands and if i plug in either it does nothing. nothing happens unless i unplug them, then it finds the hardware and says an error occurred during the installation of the device.

Windows 2000 professional + Mortal Kombat Trilogy = crash ?

I would be very happy, if someone could help me with this. I can't play mortal kombat trilogy in Windows 2000 Why? because when i get to choose the character, it crashes. I already heard that. . . there is and there isn't a solution.

New motherboard, installed drivers, reboot.... will not start!

I just upgraded from a k8 A64 to a 939 Nforce 3 ultra A64. I booted up the system. . . . it went nuts looking for drivers. I ran the newest forceware, installed the video drivers and then reset the system.

this is an old dos game by interplay. does anyone know how to get it to run? there's a report of it being compatible but no details on how to get it to run. ive tried tweaking with the properties under the executable but no luck.

Exchange 2003 SMTP setup

I am wondering if there is anyone out there that can help with this. I am sure there is something like a way to rely SMTP info or that might not even be it. The problem that I am having is that I can send and recieve mail from my exchange server but every now and then (Like and AOL address) will bounce back to me.

Is it possible to share a scanner across a home network as u do a printer??. . i dont see anywhere to set a share for it in XP. . i have a MICROTEK Phantom 336 CX. We need to share it to offer a full service for our charity custommers in each PC.

appcompat won't go away !!

After viewing several postings on this website to try to solve my appcompat. txt problem, I have learned how to delete it. However, even after a disk cleanup, defrag, and cold restart, the same error message pops up anytime I try to play any of my games.

Windows XP and Yamaha CRW2200, won't detect

I loaded WindowsXP on my machine and it will not detect my Yamaha CRW. If I only attached my CD-ROM XP will see it and it will work. As soon as I add on my Yamaha CRW, XP does't see any CD drives. I have tried using ONLY the Yamaha, but that doesn't work either.

Im having trouble with my linksys wireless pci card on windows xp the pci cards set up fine my aim and aol works but i cannot go on any site on aol. i cant use internet explorer because it comes up with cannot find sever but my internet is working.

Hello, i'm new here if you haven't noticed. I have a problem. Or major problem to me, I cannot get my GLQuake to run under windowsXP. It starts up, the console comes up (which takes about 30 seconds) and it gets about.

Hi, I’ve just installed wxp, configured everything for an user, and one day I restarted the computer and everything was like when I first installed the os. I ran to the document and settings, and my files where there, in my user folder (martinh), but now I was working in the administrator folder.

Windows xp driver for Cisco 605 modem

Is there someplace where I can find Windows XP drivers for the Cisco 605 modem? Cisco no longer supports the 605 modem, I am running Win 98 but want to upgrade my OS to Win XP. Does anyone know if someone has developed XP drivers to support the 605? Thanks.
