Good day all, As you can see this is my first post. I have a 1. 8GHz with 512 RDRam and a 40 GB h/d on WinXP(home). I want to do some DV editing and DVD authoring. I've read that for video production it is better to have two drives in a RAID 0 config than to have a single large h/d.

I have many computers all with Windows XP Pro hooked together through a linksys router to the net. All file sharing works great so no probs their. My question is: is that one of the computers has a larger harddrive in it, that i use as back up.

I've just installed XP so i headed over to Windows Update to get it patched. Unfortunately whenever I try to go to one of the pages with updates on ('Critical Updates' or 'Windows XP') it gives me a 'This page cannot be displayed' error.

i had win 98 on a machine and when i shut it down it turned puter off as well but now i have upgraded to xp i have to press the power button to turn if off?!!?!?!?! any ideas why !! thanks

ew, first the problem with the outlook express links. . . it was solved, now this one. I installed norton inetsecurity 2004 again, after reboot, there comes a screen on your desktop and you must click on the 'next' button.
