Hi I'm having trouble with win 2000 service bult 2195 with sp 1 right now that is all that was installed succefully that has to do with win 2000 sp updates. When i bought a new dvd burner it came with roxio 6 suite.

Chaintech MPM800 Issues

Ok, has anybody used this board before, I've tried two different motherboards and both have issues with both Radeon and nVidia GPU cards. The most compatible seems to be the Radeon 7000 card. Basically the machine will BSOD after the initial reboot of the Catalyst drivers, both v4.

Hi I am new I've got a laptop which I take with me back and forth from work and home. At home I have a USB printer. If I plug in the USB printer at home sometimes it creates a new 'printer' in 'Printers & Faxes', called <printer name> (Copy 1).

Radeom 9800 Pro won't play Call of Duty?!

Hi guys, I have a Radeon 9800 All In Wonder. I installed games like Call of Duty and Doom 3 on to my computer. When I start the game, it lets me into it, but when I select Start New Game, a separate window would come up asking what level of difficulty I want the game to be.

Windows XP Pro as a Terminal Server

I would like to set up a Windows XP Pro computer as a terminal server, but I can't get it to work with more than one concurrent connection. At the moment, if you log on to it while another user is connected, he will be disconnected.

ASUS motherboard with PCI modem card

I am running XP and it does not detect my modem(however detects the network card). How can I find out if my modem hardware is bad and I need to replace it. Or this is software config problem. Can the BIOS detect that this card is working.

-EDIT- OK further dectective work has shined a little light on the problem. I turned the refresh frequency of the Task manager to high. Now the CPU usage goes from 2% to 20% then back again about every second.

moved off campus, switched from domain to work group... cant log on?

I moved off campus and I was helping out a few people in the house get into the same workgroup as me so we could share files. I changed him from the school domain seibert to the workgroup workgroup When he restarted, he was unable to log on.

I created roaming user accounts a while back in July for some clients which are managed so that they can't change the settings and now a couple of the accounts seem to get an error when they login. It reads as Could not start unregmp2.

Yeah I saw it when it came out, I was a bit disappointed with the lack of more AvP as the human's seemed to be more of a mucking about or a monkey wrench into the works kind of thing. It did however clear up a lot of things about the two species in general that is and yes they left the barn door wide open for a sequel.

OK, I've dual boot with Win 98SE in C:/ and Win XP in D:/ I want to format my C:/ partition(FAT32) without messing up with my Win XP files and D:/ partition(NTFS). After that I want to install Win Me on C:/ Can any1 gimme a hand?? Thanks in advance.

Is there someone reading this who knows for sure which timer, the Power Management Clock also known as ACPI timer, or the 8254 PIT, or the APIC updates the system time in a Windows 2000 ACPI uniprocessor PC? I would like to get a definitive answer.

In the remote chance that someone cares I was able to get Daggerfall to install off of the cd running Windows 2000 professional and service pack 2 (which I'm not sure made a difference or not). 1. Grabbed fastvid 1.
