Whenever I attempt a screen change, from within any forum on NTC, SpyBot indicates that Avenue A. Inc is attempting to load. Is Avenue A on NTc by design?.

Transend USB JetFlash 2 (1.0GB) causes reboot when inserted

I just finished installing XP SP 2 and now every time I try to insert the Transend USB JetFlash drive the system reboots. The error message sent to Microsoft indicates the problem is with a device driver.

Hi, I want to be able to change the location that outlook express saves my messages to, I searched high and low for it but I couldn't find it, anybody know where I can do this? I want to be able to store my data onto my 2nd hard drive (for more protection when having to reinstall windows etc) Regards TJ

17mb of Bad sectors on drive replace?

I have a 120gb Maxtor drive and recently after a CD burn failed I checked the drive for bad sectors. Upon chkdsk completion the log displayed about 17mb in bad sectors. The other volumes are not displaying any bad sectors (yet).

Hi I am runnin windows xp. I installed command & Conquer renegade with no problem but when i tried to play it it came up with this error:Please insert the correct CD-ROM, select OK and restart application.

I have an Microsoft Sidewinder Gamepad, the gameport one, and bought a USB to Gameport adapter, so I thought it would work on my new PC. Turns out it doesnt, and the Sidewinder doesnt have any drivers for it to run on XP.

I have a fried motherboard on a Dimension 8100. I do not even know where to start to find the correct board for it and it seems that Dell makes it especially difficult to replace. I called for a Dell price and they wanted $299 for one that will work, but not the same kind as is in there now.

I've often wondered if there is a way to have the columns in the PROCESSES tab sorted according to the user's liking upon opening, i. e, I always sort the MEM USAGE column so that the processes taking up the most memory are on top of the list; does anybody know how to tweak the registry to do this? TIA.
