Hi all, I´ve got 2 little problems. 1) My power saving mode (monitor power settings) does not work for some or the other reason, it does not matter what timeout I select or which option, and neither does my screen saver, it just doesn´t go on or off or whatever.

Just began to happen, I checked session manager key in the registry and it's autocheck autochk *. So no problem there. Can anyone help? I sure hope it's not winxp shutting down poorly. it seems to shut down fine.

How do I shut down other PCs on LAN

I run a network at home and would like to be able to shut down (power off) the other PCs from any other station. What is the easiest way ? Apparently this should be possible through a vbs script, what should this look like / do I need to have some software running for it ? Harry.

Windows 98, IE 6 only saving pictures as bitmaps?

I reformatted my PC a couple months ago and since am having this problem. . . . . Whenever I try to save a picture, I'm forced to save it as a bitmap- there is no varying option for a jpg or a gif. I can change it later but it's becoming an inconvenience since saving animated gifs is no longer possible.

Saw this movie tonight. Whatever you do, DO NOT GO SEE THIS MOVIE. In my opinion it made Alien vs Predator actually look good, which is a very bad thing indeed. It's a combination of alot of things. Zombie blur effects.
