tweaking startup speeds!!

Anyone know how to tweak the startup speed??? i mean really tweak it fast!!! cause i always reach out for my computer eerytime i get home so i want it to startup extrmely quickly, of course to how off too 8)

We have had (till now) two pcs sharing messages in OE just fine: ALL messages come into both computers' inbox. Now we have added a laptop and a problem has arisen: if we use the laptop to access messages in OE, then those accessed messages will NOT subsequently appear in either inbox of our other two pcs.

I've posted compatability results for some games but they haven't shown up. Is there something in particular I or someone must to do clear them for display on the site? Or is there a delay before a post is put up? I looked around for info about this on the site, but couldn't find a thing.

i just bought the sims 2, but it requires me to update my video card to something compatible to directx 9. 0c, i have win98SE and stealth 111 s540 and i cant find an update of this thing ANYWHERE! this is seriously depressing! i've already tried the diamond site, downloads.

When I start Cold Shadow, I get these two errors: Unable to link to KERNEL32. DLL. Error 2 is The application failed to intialize properly (0xc0000142). Click OK to terminate the application. I have a Dell Dimension 2400 running on Windows XP.

Hey i've just installed the Ge-force MX4000 128MB with TV-Out and i've connected an S-Video cable to my TV and everything, but the picture on my TV is Black and white. I tried playing with the settings but theres no colour on my TV monitor.

I actually found PowerMenu a few days ago, when looking for an application that would forcefully set the always on top property. It works great, and has some neat opacity settings for 2000/XP/2003. .

I finally found a driver for the Canoscan 620U!!! It is the Japanese version that I found on the real Japanese website. Instead of installing it exactly, I allowed the existing English files to not be overwritten.

I noticed that when i networked my windows 2000 and windows 98 machine that if i didn't login under the same name on both that it wouldn't let me access the shared folders across the network. Is this how it should be ? If i clicked on the shared folder it would ask me to put a pw in but i never setup a pw.

Hey all, I've been having some trouble with Nero's newest release for CD/DVD Burning fun. When I try to burn out a CD, many times (at least 6 times now) the same write error will appear and halt the burning process.

I was just thinking of upgrading till i got an kick on my ass. would'nt it be great to have a external AGP extension? sort of like a power extension, a single AGP wire commin out through the case then to a zip drive thing which has a hole a the fans.

I just got a new computer, and of course the one thing in it not up to par is the graphics, which is on-board/shared memory. Luckily, I got a system with an AGP-8X slot, so I can get a good video card for the system.

Hey, I just found my copy of FFVII: PC version in my closet and wanted to play it after a long time. Only problem is that when i insert the CD, nothing happens. In fact, if i go to My Computer and open the CD's folder, i can only see a few folders with some files.
