hi all, i have been set the task of implementing a gigabit ethernet lan, gigabit all the way to the desktop (about 400 users) could someone tell me if i should use full or half duplex ? i read somewhere that there isn't any equipment available for half-duplex.

hi im having a problem running avp gold, when i start it all it does is show a black screen, so i changed the screen area to 640x480 so then it worked but when i tryed to start a mission it said that my videocard didnt have enough memmory.

recently installed windows 2k (pro) on a old laptop of mine. I don't really need it to do much, but I do need it to have more than it's current 16 colors only. I try to reset the screen resolution but it keeps reverting to the original one there (800x600) and only has an option for 16 colors.

Okay get ready. . . I accadently set an security level on my External NTFS HDD with all my files. Now i dont have access anymore to it. I have tried: reboot login as admin. connect it to a other pc. tools from the i-net.

I have WD 120GB external HD. It can work on USB 1 and 2, I'm running Win XP SP1 and I have USB 1. The HD worked fine (except for the slow transfer rate ) but lately I have a problem writing to the HD.

XCopy problem

I have created a backup batch file using the XCOPY command, and it works fine, except for the fact that the files copied to a CD all contain date and timestamps of when they were copied. Has anyone any idea how to keep the original date and time? As far as I can see there are no switches which allow me to do this.
