problem with NVidia Soundstorm

Hi As a newbie I'm not sure where this should go. . . however, I am having problems with Nvidia Soundstorm which came with my PC (System is a AMD Athlon 3GHz processor with ABIT NF7 motherboard with nForce integrated).

Wow, this is some great advise that could pretty much help me. But yesterday night, I shut down my computer and turned it back on today. Everything started up normally, except that msconfig message, but besides that, McAfee came up saying the Qhosts.

Quick Question About Video Convertors

Hey all, I wanted to get everyone's opinion on what you think is the best video convertors (avi to mpeg, avi to wmv, mpeg to avi, ect. ). More recently I've been using #1 Video Convertor however I've noticed that even when I command it for No Resize Image, the image seems to be cropped a little bit on each side.

No sound with Creative Soundblaster PCI sound device

I keep getting an error message saying that my soundcard isn't working properly. In the Device Manager it says that the sound device is working properly. But when I try to play music in Windows Media Player it gives me an error message.

I have a ASUS magic V9520 which i noe is crap. But it is able to play Doom 3 on my friends computer with the same video card without flitering. I mean the display looks like those when u video a computer screen with a video cam, i am starting to suspect that its my moniter thats causing this.

yeah, i bet this has been asked a million times, but what I think the search-function here sucks, so i registered my problem is Need for Speed 4: High Stakes (german). . . not the game itself, but the fact that everything above a TNT2 is unupported.

I am having real trouble trying to install the Sims 2 on my computer. I have an Acer Aspire 1300. For a while i was unable to install DirectX 9. 0 but i finally managed to sort that out. Now i have installed The Sims 2 but when i try and play it i get an error message saying: Failed to find any DirectX 9.

Doom III: How's it treating you?

P4 2. 26GHz (533MHz bus) 768MB DDR 2100 RAM Geforce4 ti4400 128MB Doom 3 runs OK at 800x600 with medium details, unsure of the FPS, but doubt it goes over 40. What a truely amazing game. What I **REALLY** look forward to is how this game will run in 1-2 years.

I am having the same problem as another person only i have a different graphics card. . . it is a voodoo3 3500 3dfx I cant seem to find a driver that is compatible with directx 9. 0c. . . My OS is XP.
