Hi can anyone help, please. I am having real problems with the cws hijack trojan. I have read the earlier threads, and tried to follow them, however I can't download the hijackthis spyware. I am currently using Webroot Spy Sweeper which is telling me that this trojan is trying to constantly change my web page.

Want to upgrade two XP Home desktops and two Windows ME systems - one desktop - one laptop to XP Professional. Should I buy Retail Boxed (Upgrade or Full) or OEM versions of XP Pro? I find great savings on line for OEM versions but am not sure.

I'm running Win2k Pro SP4 on a Dell Optiplex GX150. Well actually it's a computer lab of them at my school. Anyway, this certain one has recently started freezing at the start-up screen, with the progress bar completely filled.

IEXPLORE.exe runs numerous time on my computer

I have had winows xp since i bought my computer, and it was just recently re-formatted. If i try to go on the internet at all, it freezes up, only with the internet browser though, not msn or any other program.

Bought a new 200GB hard drive and using my old 100GB hard drive as a second drive in my system. The new drive will be the master and the older one slave. Both drives will be formatted and partitioned with one partition each.

i have a geforce2 titanium 64MB graphics card and the colors throughout the game are all mixed up and distorted. . . i have heard that this is due to issues involving geforce cards. . . but haven't seen any patches out for it as yet.

In disk management i just noticed that my c: drive fat32 80gb running in my win xp home computer, has a 1. 95gb healthy empty partition on it!! I bought this computer online and it has worked well. Since this partition is healthy and empty, can I just rt.

Media Player not finding media info

When I download songs and play them in Windows Media Player 9 Series, it doesn't automatically find the media info, and when I click View Album Info it says that the feature is not available. I have Norton Internet Security, so I was wondering if that could be what is stopping it from working.

Hi guys,I have Might and Magic VII and after I installed it on my computer and double click on the desktop icon the screen went black for 2 seconds and then it threw me back to desktop,I noticed that if I put at the graphics option software the game runs fine,but if I check Hardware the problem remains.

I am trying to run Star Wars Racer under W2K, (AMD Athlon 1G, 128Mb) but with no success. If I look at the game's analysis listing it thinks that it's running on an NT machine, so I tried using the compatibility utility APCompat.

Okay, where do I start. . . I installed Windows XP Home Edition Upgrade over Win98 SE August 20th. When I had Win98 on my system, I had a generic 36X CD-ROM jumpered master and a Plexwriter 8/4/32A CD-RW jumpered slave on my secondary IDE.
