Calculating the 'real' size of the registry

How does Windows mesure the 'size' of the registry (as revealed on the property sheet where you set up your pagefile)? The size currently reported (14mb) is not the same as when I select the files in the system32\config folder (and does it include my ntuser.

Hi i just bout myself creative inspire 4. 1 speakers along with a sound blaster 4. 1 digital. I installed the card, and the drivers, but i've been having a prob. when i watch movies/ listen to. mp3 once in a whine it jsut jumps 2-6 seconds forward.

I've tried this tweak on my 2000 PC. (1/2 the suggested value also b/c I only have 512 RAM). So far no instabilities. . . but no shocking performance increases either (then again we don't all have the luxuary of a hardware ramdrive to store our pagefile on!).

IE6 SP1 xml download issue

HI, I am trying to download an xml from an application, but it gives me access denied error. But, this error occurs ONLY if I use IE 6. 0 with Service Pack 1 and other patches. It works when I try with IE 6.

Can you UNDO a Ghost Image???

Is it possible to undo a Ghost image? Here's what happened: I installed an OS and applications for this older Compaq system. The system is slow, so it took quite some time. After making different configurations changes, obtaining updates, etc etc.

Load Balancing Router?

I would like to put a load balancing router in between my private network and my T1 + Cable. Right now I have a T1 a SDSL and a Cable modem I have somewhere in the area of 25 computers in the building with many switches and routers connecting different groups of computers to different connections.

Help! I accidntly shut My PC off by the power switch. Now it won't boot. It will not go to last know config,Normal startup,and when I try safemode it just stop at a point with had drive activity but nothing going on.

XP pro IE will not launch hard drive keeps trying but never comes up
