Currently running XP Home. After every log-in, I'm prompted to set the paging file. No matter what I put in as the range, when I reboot and log back on, I get the message again. CHK DSK Runs Continuously

I have just finished setting up my new computer and turned it on. All was fine untill it froze. I restarted and all was fine again. I set it up to do a chk dsk on restart and. . . restarted. It ran the chkdsk and then reboted and ran the chkdsk and reboted etc.

I have two domain controllers, one called H and and the other P. H is the domain controller, its the master for active directory, DNS etc (or supposed to be) P runs a mail program, accounts package and a web proxy application.

Help! My Radeon 9800 display adapter crashes in Windows XP

I dont know why my Radeon 9800se display adapter card dont work in windows XP The machine goes tilt after i log into Windows xp. Within 10 seconds blue screen comes and text with it. It says something like this stop 0x00 or alternative trys i have noticed these pieces of text: win32k.

I just got a Turtle Beach Montego A3DXSTREAM no cd. I can't find any drivers/software bundles for XP. I'm running a P4 2. 4 400 Mhz, MSI FX 9200 SE, and the new sound card. Has anyone had any luck finding drivers for this card.

ntvdm.exe using 99% of CPU, how do I correct this?

I have a new machine, and all of the newest updates and drivers for it. When I fire up our DOS-based accounting program (which obviously uses the ntvdm) my CPU usage goes to 99-100%. This does not lock-up the computer, but does take a state-of-the-art machine and turn it into a 286 piece of junk.
