Adaptec 19160 SCSI Adapter Card

I flashed the adapter BIOS. After the flash and reboot, the adapter did not respond like usual with SCSI BIOS, instead with a blinking cursor, and I could not bootup the PC in anymean to restore the old BIOS.

sorry really weird title but didn't know how to put it. alright here is the problem i downloaded directx 9. 0 so i could play sims 2 well when i put in the sims 2 disc an error box stating that my driver isn't compatible with directx 9.

Hi friends. . . . I have one problem with my company LAN. In one department of my company. . suppose one computer remains idle for more time ( say 1 to 2 hour) then it gets hanged and it causes other PCs in that group to be hanged.

Who exactly designed 'cookies' into the browser? I heard windoze95 was sending a list of hardware during online registration already, back then! Why does every version of windoze have more 'holes' than swiss cheese ( )? Don't they learn from their mistakes? They don't listen or care about public demand.

I am trying to delete a folder of my hard drive but I can't seem to delete the. chm files within the folder. Can anyone help me out with this please? Oh I am running XP pro if that makes a difference Thanks in advance.

Ghost 9 will not load the browser correctly

I have Ghost 9 installed and have made images to a partition on the hard drive and to an external USB hard drive. I have used images successfully from either media using the Ghost 9 Boot CD. (Note: DEP is enabled on my XP Pro Sp2 - as indicated by Symantec) Bottom line? The program works fine.

I just took over an existing company that had SBS 2003 with Exchange 2003. Well with the new management and company name came a new domain. Is there any way I can (1) change domains without loss of settings, users, etc.

My Sims 2 loads and I play for awhile and then a message comes up and says An error has occured in the application. The application will now terminate. It's not a virus protection thing because I don't have any on my computer.

On Windows XP if you want to try and run older software you have the option of running the. exe under a compatibility mode (W95/98/NT4 etc. . ) The feature appears as a tab on the properties page of the exe.

How to convert a file system from NTFS version 3.x to NTFS version 1.x ???

I understand that when an NTFS hard drive from an NT4. 0 system is removed and mounted (as a secondary drive) on a Windows 2k/XP system, that some sort of automatic file system conversion is done and the file system on the NT4 drive is converted to NTFS version 3.

When I first installed Win2000 Advanced Server I installed the nVidia Win2000 378 drivers (I have a TNT2). Everything worked fine until I tried to upgrade to version 513 and 514 of the nVidia drivers.

For all those who have Nomads and were pissed when creative didnt have software that worked for win2k, it is now out. Get it from -> software downloads i havent tried it though yet so its entirely possible that creative made a shotty program.
