Apparently you can use the RC with NT 4. 0, Although it talks of booting off the 2000 installation media. I wonder if you can install it as well. No mention of NT 3. x, although I don't see why it wouldn't work.

How do you do a Data Transfer?

I just bought a new 200GB IDE hard drive and I want to transfer the data from my old 20GB IDE hard drive to the new one. How do I go on about doing this? Is it even possible? Would Windows get transferred as well?.

OK i am damn confused. Should i get the powercolor 9600xt with an expensive cooler or an original 9700pro. Will the 9600xt be able to overclock to speeds of the 9700pro? And which one will last me longer? as in play games longer.

I am about to reinstall win2000 but I am faced with a problem. I dont really want to format / re partition the drive and if I just reinstall over, my program files directory and winnt directory will still be full of junk that I want to get rid of.

hey guys. major problem with my ff7. im running win2k pro and everything works fine. i load the game and it plays the opening theme, but once i get into play after starting a new game there is NO sound.

I just bought a NAV 05 and went to stall it on XP sp1, it gets to the part of the install of the msvcrt. dll and errors out and will not complete the install, I have gone to Symantec and followed there directions as to how to removel all the old NAV, with there removel tools, I have also deleted the old msvcrt.

Did the issue posted by Pikey get resolved? I am trying to install on windows XP Home edition QuickTime as the application required for my recently purchased 20 GB iPod. The messgage I get is The application or DLL C:\WINDOWS\System32\Quicktime.

I'm running 320 ram with Win 2k pro and had zero problems until my mobo died. At that point I brought it to the builder and he replaced my ancient P2 with an AMD Athalon and board from a computer of a friend who went into gaming and sought out horsepower.

AOE2 errors HELP

Whenever i start any game of AOE2 my screen scrolls up to the top and stays there, if i move it back down it just scrolls back up again. I reinstall the newest catalyst drivers from ati and every other game is working with my Radeon 9600.

Since installing SP2, my machine goes into periods of making a sound similar to a chimpanzee trying to tune a xylophone. I was advised to turn of automatic updates, which I have. Still that chimp is in there somewhere, swinging his frigging xylophone stick.
