Hmmm, I got kind of bored, so I reverted back to my old 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV graphics controller and tried to run Half-Life 2. (No, I'm not crazy trying to run it on 64Mb intergrated Graphics, I just wondered ) Later I will try taking 256Mb of RAM away and then maybe rlling back my sound and Graphics drivers.

I have a Promise Fast-Track100 TX2 PCI card with 2 maxtor 40 gig drives they are striped (im a gamer) but ever since i got this computer it pauses for about 6sec give or take every little while. this happens most when games/video/audio are running but it may be that this is the only time i notice it all my drivers ...

hello chaps, I'm new on here and am a bit of a comp novice, but i downloaded adaware, registered etc last weekend. now when i turn the pc on i get the user accounts up on xp but when i select one the computer switches off and starts up again.

I just bought Warlords III Darklords Rising and it keeps freezing on Windows XP. I've run it in compatability mode for Windows 95 and 98 and i still have had no luck. Is there no hope or can i do something about it?.

Hi Friends, I have a windows 2k pro network of 7 pcs. The problem is with internet connection sharing. My one pc is connected through zyxel dsl modem. In the properties for zyxel connection i have enabled the sharing.

I am going to install win xp pro onto a pc that is running win xp home. At the same time, I want it to get rid of all the junk on my hard drive (format). Are there any precaution I need to take, or will the CD for win xp pro ask this during installation.

I have been using WINdows 98 since a year. I dunno when, but i have recently realised that 2 Mb RAM has vanished from my total memory which was 256MB RAM. i am sad that my system is not able to satisfy the min.

PC rebooting after SP@ install - help please!

I had a big problem earlier- one that resulted in me restoring my PC My PC was running fine, I shut it down as normal. Today, I turned it on and it came up with the DOS/command promt style font on full screen and it said in the top left hand corner; NTLDR is missing.

OWA works in Netscape not IE

Well after plugging away at Exchange I got almost all of it to work except OWA. I can bring up OWA with Netscape with no problems, yet with IE it is stuck on loading inbox and can not display folders.
