Help and Support Center W/XP-SP2

Hi everyone, When I start Help and Support center, I don't get any knowledge base articles when I do a search. The knowledge base tab reports 0 results. I am thinking that this is caused by Microsoft's major overhaul of their KB system.

I got the problem that hundreds of other people have gotten: after installing SP2, my computer would stall out at the blue windows XP screen right before the login screen comes up. I looked this problem up on Microsoft's website and found it well documented and a solution was provided.

Hyperlinks in Excel

Please can someone help me with this. I've got some hyperlinks between files in excel and when I click and go to a file the original file doesnt close, and the same when I click back. I have Office 2003 and I had the same configuration (hyperlinks)in office 2000 and was working ok.

Hello everyone, When I try to open an exe from my LAN or Network Drive, I receive the IE Secuirty warning which says that this type of file could harm your computer. . . The checkbox is grayed out.
Norton Ghost problem.

I used Norton Ghost 8 to backup my main HD prior to installing SP2 for XP. Everything seem to go find, and SP2 causes some problems, so I decided to back it out. Unfortunately, Ghost saved the images to CDR, and 5 of the set of 30 images had problems and cannot be read from the CDR's.

ERD QUESTION: You were able in Win2k to create an Emergency Repair Disk by right clicking on C drive, Properties, Tools tab, Backup. However, in WinXP you just seem to be able to back your data up under this procedure, either via the wizard or the advance mode.

Installed 2003 and lost admin rights on my Win Me

I installed 2003 Server on my computer tha talready had Win Me on it. Everything is working fine with the dual boot but when I boot to Me I don't have any rights to se control panel, change backgrounds etc.

I have this weird problem with baldurs gate 2. The game installs just fine and I can run it as far as the main menu but when I click on Create Character the game simply crashes. Checkerboard pattern crash during gameplay

Its happened a few times before, moreso now than previously though. At any random point in a game, 5 minutes, 2 hours, etc, a multicolored checkerboard pattern will cover the entire screen and my computer will freeze up making me have to restart.

my ram seems to be badly damaged. whenever i boot up my pc everything works fine for about 10 minutes, then it makes a spluttering coughing-type sound, and that's when it all kicks off. my curser stutters across the screen in a stop-start motion, then locks up and crashes.
