Schedule Tasks & Backup Utility Problem

Hi All! I have a series of computers running XPpro. I'm using the crude Backup Utility to backup different user's My Documents folder and other crucial data. Anyway, it would appear that scheduled tasks don't run properly from the Welcome Screen.

Ok! my problem seems strage to me. everything was OK. i dunno when but this problem has appeared. whenever i leave my computer alone for a few minutes i. e without working on it, instead of a screensaver coming up the monitor switches of.

problems with Nvidia GeForce MX4000

hi guys! I have a P4 1. 8 mhz processor with mercury Via chipset motherboard with an agp 2 slot Earlier I was using a nvidia 64 mb 8x agp card (mora)and the comp was working perfectly. I am trying to upgrade to an Nvidia GeForce MX4000 XFX make but the computer does not work.

I do not wish to shre files or anything else, only the internet but i cannot access the ip address to do this.

Hello, I wonder if someone could help me out here. (Forgive my computer unsavviness). I have a new Intel P4 with a motherboard with two SATA connections and a primary 160gb hard drive. I want to install my old 60gb IDE into one of the SATA connections as an extra drive and I thus bought an adapter on eBay.

I am running windows xp set with 3 user accounts for every family member, the following problem only occurs when I use my account. computer takes a long time to start any given program, when I open the internet explorer the homepage is shown but after a minute or so it gets redirected to the following blank page.

Adobe hangs?

I have run adobe 6 faultlessly until this week. Now, any email I receive with an adobe attachment causes the computer to hang and adobe will not run. I have tried uninstalling and downloading a new copy of adobe, but get the same results.

I partitioned my windows and put on linux that was fine. the problem is when i configured my cable modem to work with mozilla it worked, then I restarted the computer and now the internet is not connected and cant connect.

Cannot print anything from Internet Explorer.

Weird problem here. The print properties page, nor the print preview page, nor the page setup page, will come up in IE. Nothing happens. Right now the computer is free of spyware. Also, things can print fine from Firefox, so it's not a printer problem.
