Can't search on IE

Hi, I have been trying to search on Internet Explorer and I keep getting either a Search (findallresults. net) page because the site can't be found or the message The page cannot be displayed. There are some sights (like this one) and search engines that are ok but most are not.

I am using mandrake linux 10. 1. I had set up an internet connection using usbnet(usb Host-to-host link drivers(numerous vendors) as the new connection. the problem is everytime I restart the computer I have to set up the connection from scratch all over again.

I have a Dell Dimension XPS Gen 2 desktop that I bought last year. I think I'm screwed but I need more power. Dell customizes their systems so much that I need to get a new case with a power supply. Before I buy anything, I need some input on the problems I'm gona run into here.

Win XP Page file /Dual boot problem

I have two SCSI hard drives, one with Win 2k and a couple of other FAT32 partitions (Disk 0), the other with Win XP (Disk 1)in NTFS. They work well in a dual booot arrangement. I decided to combine the two disks, and use the free one for backup.

Hi, I'm trying to install the 64bit xp and within the first 2 mins this is the screen I get repeatedly. Its going to ATA on K8NE and 3200 AMD 64 Graphics is Asus AX800 Pro and a gig of identical ram Any help no matter how small would be appreciated.

How can I figure out what my grapic card & adapter is? How do I find out what directx type I have? The sims worked on my computer but the sims 2 won't run & comes up with the message about compatible graphics adapters.

I have downloaded a copy of the above mentioned software but it cannot be installed. The filename acmboot. exe then executes with the following msg : 16 bit Windows Subsystem C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.

When I go to Run and type in dxdiag, I check the display and I see nothing for my driver. Is that bad? Can that be fixed? How can I figure out what my grapic card it? I had an old one but it doesn't appear now and it wasn't compatible with DirectX.

suddenly i cant post msgs in yahoo groups coz when i do they dont show and mainly my whole window is down to 25% with the desktop showing behind it??? its not the minus or max as thats ok but i cant read my full pages now as its kinda dissapeared???? HELP a lady in distress x

9800 pro crashing problem

Alright, I have been trying to fix this problem for MONTHS to no avail. I have: Athlon XP 3000+ 1gb Corsair DDR 400 ASRock K8S8X mobo 9800 Pro 128mb (VisionTek XTasy) After my computer has been off for serveral hours and it completely cooled down, I go to start it up, I starts loading windows.

Can anyone help me to figure out how to get Windows NT 4. 0 SP6a to recognize a USB printer. I am using USBtray 2. 0 from insideOut networks and it finds our USB key drives easily and associates a new drive letter to access them.

Question, We have an machine that uses the newer nvidia MCP-D (NForce) chipset. The drivers from Nvidia only support W2000 and XP. I have tried to install these drivers on NT4 but I get an install error stating the OS is incorrect.

I recently upgraded my system by installing an Athlon XP 1800 Ever since I put it in my system has become unstable. I am experiencing random lockups and Office applications (Word mainly - refuses to work at all) I did a fresh install of Windows XP pro after putting the chip in.

DirectX 9.0 crashing video help!

This started happening when I installed Far Cry. I play the game awhile and the card crashes and I get a bunch of crazy colours and wavy lines. I am running a AMD 3000+ with a gig of ram and a ATI 9800 all in wonder with 128mg.

Hi, I installed X-wing alliance on an XP Pro with SP1 and everything works okay except that there is no targeting box for any targeted object. Anyone know how this can be fixed? Thanks in advance.

Hi I have the original sims game (off ebay) and have installed it but whent he game loads I dont have a curser pointer to select any options so have to try and highlight the words to click and then when playing the game I get the curser but only when moving my sims around and also I dont get any sound even thought ...

Actually my priblem is different. I have windows XP installed on a 1400mb drive. XP installation takes a lot of time on my system, so what I want to do is make 2 CDs of that drive so that I can simply copy those CDS on that drive and start with XP.

well my sisters computer was the main one used in the house, becuase it was the only one connected to the net. . . . but one day after shed used it the night before whilst i was working i came to start it up, but i got the NTLDR file is missing error message.
