Access denied in DOS

First of all I am kinda new to all this so hope this makes sense and somebody could make a suggestion. I was in the middle of a system restore and my comp died (not really sure why) but now when I start up I get a black screen and just my mouse pointer.

hmm ok im sure its been asked before but i have no idea what im looking for in computer term so i got two computers and i got a cable called cross-over from future shop which the guy told me was all i needed i got windows xp on both computer and well i connected the cable but i dont know what to do next

Hello any one can help I had windows Me and it was working fine untill I had a game the needs directx I did install the latest version of directx 9. c and when it finish. I start the game it tell me that you need directx I did check for directX where it must be at Program Files I cant find it as it is not installed ...

DNS error log confusion.

I RECENTLY BROUGHT A NEED FOR SPEED UNDERGROUND 2 AND A LOGITECH MOMO FORCE FEEDBACK WHEEL. I INSTALLED BOTH AND TRIED TO DOWNLOAD THE PROFILE FOR NFS2, BUT THERE IS NOT PROFILE. . . (I CANT USE REVERSE, NITROUS, AND OTHER STUFF) I FOUND A LOT OF PROFILES BUT NOT THE RIGHT ONE.

ATI TV Wonder Pro screen capture problem.

Hi, I'm new, and honestly just looking for what is probably a simple answer to my problem. I just got an ATI TV Wonder Pro, which works fine for what I want to use it for, outside of one problem. When I capture a still image the picture is covered with a bright red tint that was not visible otherwise.

Help with new build.

Hello All. I am having a major issue with a new build on a MSI 915GM-FR Motherboard with a P4HT 3. 0ghz processor. When I start to load the OS Win XP sp2 it goes through the normal loading driver stuff and them I get the blue screen and the stop error message.

Well I have seen first hand how a good memory optimizer can help and I have also seen where it didn't or actually degraded performance somewhat. This being said leads me to believe that there are *always* going to be scenario's where these kinds of apps will work wonders and others that it will not.

FAT to NTFS - insufficient memory

I'm running Win2k from a 30,7gb HD. I've succesfully converted it to NTFS once before, but for some stupid reason I converted it back to FAT32 with PM6 a little while ago. Now I want to convert it NTFS again, using convert d: /fs:ntfs /v from the cmd, and rebooting.
