Does anyone know anything about Powerquest Drive Image restore feature. I need desperately to restore from CDs to a new computer. I tried to use the restore files & folders feature, but it is not reading the CD.

Hi I am new on this site and i just got the Sims 2 on PC I installed it and then went to play the game but it said that i had no DirectX 9. 0 adapters in my system. I first thought it was my computer only but then i came on here and found out that it has happened to alot of people.

getting quake 2 to run with windows xp

Can anyone help me please, i am a novice at this. i have quake 2 and when i try to run it on my pc (windows xp)it tells me that the system file is not suitable for running ms dos and microsoft windows applications, is there any way i can get this game to work, any help would be appriciated.

Is anyone can help me to delete the files and folders in the protected cycle bins. It seems that there are two trash cans. If I click on properties then select option unerased wizard. It will bring back all the files.

Darkstone with Windows 2000

I recently got Darkstone because I heard it was a sweet game. I got it all installed and ran all of the updates, but it doesn't run right. It runs the first couple of introductory movies, and then closes and takes me back to my desktop.

When I click on Start Menu my programs appear but the links are missing. When the Start Menu expands links say empty. Can anyone help? I tried letting xp repair itself, nothing. Thanks in advance. .

P4P800 Deluxe Lan Problem

i have a laptop from work that is part of a windows domain. the laptop runs win2k sp4. my home computer is on winxp pro sp2. problem i'm having is, i can't use windows file sharing at home when i log onto the laptop using an offline account.

Just thought I would pose a poll as for your reasoning in selecting this OS. For me, the final kicker was the pricing on upgrading our Exchange server from 5. 5 to 2000. As there is no longer an upgrade option, it will now cost at *least* $10,000US for us to REPLACE the licenses, rather than a few grand at the most ...

I have just built a sys. for the first time. It runs good until it seems to shut down. The screen goes black and the power light turns orange(17 Sony Trinitron) I reset the comp. and it runs normal for awhile.
