installation file missing

i was installing the DVD version of the game and a error message pops up saying that the ssx3 intro movie couldnt copy. i explored the disk and the file is there but in its properties it says its of no size (aka 0kb in size.

I wonder if it reports all the 'on by default' Micro$lop 'phone-home-ware' built right in to windohs?! Everything after '98' should have had it built right in to the OS, the nerve! They are offering a free beta for now, pay them later for software to fix the other software they sold you in the first place.

when deleting files from they re appear

i delete file from favorites it goes to recycle bin. i then empty it. when i turn machine back on all the files i deleted come back. whats the trick? thanks ed.

Somewhere down the line I used Ad removal programs that added features to aim as well as removing ad's. The newest version of Aim did not have an AD hack (5. 9) for it so I made my own. Anyway, Middleman (aim ad hacker) had a feature in it to snap to desktop corner in it's features.

ok so i just bought the sims 2 i installed it and some stuipid pop up thing says failed to find any directx 9. 0c compatable graphics adapters in this system! please make sure you have a directx 9. 0c compatable graphics adapter and have installed the latest drivers provided by the manufacturer.

I was wondering if anyone knows how to foce DMA mode by editing the registry. I have a Pioneer 114 DVD drive, but it does not automaticaly support DMA mode (unless one of the 2 reserved jumpers support that).

Hi, I have a HP laptop ZT1170 (with windows XP Home as OS) which I have been using for more than couple of years now. It has an adequate memory of 512 MB, but lately it has become extremely slow. I have tried to use all the tricks and tips that I can lay hands on but still the performance keeps degrading.
