I recently installed xp as an upgrade from the win 2000. I recieved this computer from a friend and never needed to use her password (somehow login only required pressing the cancel button) but I am certain that I have her correct password.

I have just upgraded to: Asus K8V-X - with onboard sound disabled. A64 Radeon graphics win XP pro But kept an old PCI128 soundblaster sound card. Before I upgraded I was runing xp home on a P3 500.

I've looked a bit around the net but I cant seem to find a proper driver which is compatible with Xp. I went to the official BenQ site and downloaded the driver but it didnt work O_o I kept gettin a 'Please check if your scanner is attached' or 'check if the cable is properly attached' check to both of em mates.

When I try to install half life 2/counter strike source it starts up the installation. It installs up to disc 4 and then it comes to a file called. Counter Strike Source Shared. gcf and then it stalls.

i'm trying to run MM6 and for the life of me i can't get it to work. i've tried the compatibiltiy settings and i get absolutely nothing. everytime i go to run the game i get an error message and the game crashes.

All of our client computers logged into the Windows 2003 domain cannot print from IE. You go to File->Print, and the print page doesn't even come up. I've checked all the group settings and security settings, but I can't seem to find anything that is relevant.

hey, i am borowing sims deluxe from a friend. i can install is perfectly fine, but it cuts out when the opening credits are over. si i can only get as far as the Blue box with the title and the white writing running along at the bottom of the screen.

My Toshibe Satellite 1135-S155 has suddenly developed a problem. When I try to boot up, the power comes on, fan blows, the CD gets pegged, and then suddenly it cuts off, with the power light still on.
