XP Rebooting on Start-up

I have a problem with 4 identicle xp machines rebooting on start-up. In one of the machines I've replaced MB, CPU and HDD. When I had replaced the HDD with another one out of a fully working identicle machine it worked fine, so obviosly the HDD is the problem.

Here is a solution that i have: I finally managed to install the DrectX 9. 0c. I of course tried uninstalling the DirectX 9. 0b, then installing the 9. 0c version, but it still skipped the installation part, and said that its already installed but it wasn't.

It looks like they're moving back to a darker film like the original 2 Batman movies (the Tim Burton ones) - just as long as it's nothing like the last 2 films, I'll be happy I'm not sure about War of the Worlds - just hope they don' ...

I have a 1 month old computer (3. 2ghz, ati graphics card) and I keep loosing my monitor signal. I have bought a new monitor, in case that was the problem, but it can take several re boots before the siginal is recieved by the monitor.

I have a question When i start up my windows 98SE, A message appears: TO VIEW THIS FILE YOU HAVE TO BE CONNECTED:((THEN TWO OPTIONS) WORK OFFLINE TRY AGAIN I CHOOSE WORK OFFLINE, BUT AFTER THAT I AM UNABLE TO FIND THE EXPLORER PROGRAM LISTED UNDER THE CLOSE PROGRAM DIALOG.

Hey all. About 2 weeks ago my computer crashed on me and I had to reformat everything and repartition the drives. One of these drives (D) won't reformat. It will start and then stop after about 10% is formatted.

fifa 2001 not working on XP

i have an Sis 6326 (8m) video card. When i had win98, i could play fifa 2001 on it (Software renderer mode). Now we have upraded to winxp (pro). when i start the game, i only get the main screen and when i try to play the game (or select Game Options), it closes and comes bak to my desktop.

My S. O. is Windows XP Pro. In Outlook Express I select a message in Inbox go to Edit and then click on Delete to delete the message. But nothing happen the message is not deleted. Result that I have my email box replete of messages.

Here's the thing. I've been asked to find some good music for our on-hold system at work. Obviously it must be royalty free and copyright free etc etc and not sound like absolute shiat. Aside from MIDI, does anyone have any ideas of places.

Hi, Currently my install of WindowsXP is installed on a RAID setup. I recently got one of the new Maxtor HDD with 16MB cache and want to relocate my XP install onto it. I Ghost'd my current installation to the new Maxtor HDD.
