hey guys, will you help please i have a trouble in my desktop when i right clikc on my desktop, and then i click the properties, the 'Display Properties' dialog didn't appear. how can i fix it? please and thank you very much.

After installin heatsink cpu turns off why ?

After installing my new heatsink my cpu constantly turns off. I went to Directron. com on their website they show you how to install it on the very bottom it shows a fAQ on it says exactly what i put down awhile ago.

My Cpu says CPU system failed due to overclocking

When I open windows xp,Its says Cpu system failed due to overclocking, 1st of all my system isn't overclocked ( i think) I have a intel p4 3. 4ghz LGA775, memory - 1gb-2x512mb-200gb HD,the only thing that overclocked is my video card it has cooler on it.

Mechwarrior 3 pirates moon

Loaded the game mechwarrior 3 pirates moon but can't get robot to move on a sidewinder joystick. A techo from actvision once had me delete a file in pirates moon and replace it with one from mechwarrior three but i can't remember which file.

The topic is not all that new but all the posts are rather old. I've got a patch for dx and the game runs ok but when I come to solve a puzzle I only get to see part of it. In the first one, I only see the shelf I have to put the books on but I see no books.

mouse pointer skips to corners!!!!!

so Im desperate. Ive even bought a new laptop(free actually)ive even done ghosts and a full restore and still its skipping across the screen usually to the corners. Ive tried different mice and have tried 2 different laptops.

forgive me if this has already been covered on the forum but i didnt see it. this problem started a few days ago, and i CAN NOT get it to go away. i get static and weird popping type sounds whenever i have winamp running in windows and all the time in games.

and the screen spins every few minutes when playing games. Unbelievable !!!ive done everything. I even have a new laptop and new mouse. Ive restored and I can only think its coming from the other 3 users on their network downstairs from me.
