Have DNS running on my 2k Server box. Have no problems resolving any names except my own domain hosted on that box by IIS. I can switch the DNS server on the client systems to any public DNS server and it resolves my domain back to my IIS server.

ram disk good for page file?

I have 768mb of ram and running xp. would it be good if I moved the page file to a ram disk? say, form a 100mb ramdisk and use 90mb for the page and 10mb for my temp directories. . ? or is 768 not enough ram to have a ram disk? from what I've read, a ram disk page file would be faster than a separate page partition.

Has anyone here successfully gotten this game to install and run/save games correctly under W2K? I followed the instructions found here and so far, the game will start up, but you cannot select any saved games (the option is greyed out) and yo ucan't load up any autosaves.

i tried to install the latest wdm driver for WinTV (wdm327_20021. exe) and now it won't work i even tried to uninstall it and revert back to the old driver and still doesn't work. when i tried to install the new driver, it asked to reboot, i did, then upon restart, it said xp detected a new hardware and to install ...

Hello All, I tried to run Might and Magic IV: Mandate of Heaven on Windows XP but it doesn't work. An error message pops up and states that: Video Driver not a DirectDraw driver. Do I need to download a DirectDraw driver or is the problem more in depth? Thanks alot, Mike.
