Freespace: The Great War instaallation problems-HELP ME PLEASE!!

hi, i signed up 2 this site because i've been having problems installing one the origional Freespace game, Freespace: The Great War on Windows XP. Whenever i try 2 run the installer, a message pops up saying: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.

Rogue Spear Problem

when i'm in game in rogue spear lobby my mouse cursor freezes for a couple seconds as i move it and when the game starts online everyone warpes only i get it. firewall was off. compatibility options dont help.

Internet explorer (winxp) not displaying objects after reload.

I recently upgraded few things in my second machine and reloaded win xp and now things in internet explorer arent showing up. Like buttons in hotmail come up as red x's, or banners on some sites give me the this page cannot be displayed error or ad pages that load up before a site comes up wont display and such.

is there any way to make a GeForce 2 GTS support pass the 8-bit paletted textures test on Final Fantasy VIII for PC? i know this feature worked with my old Voodoo 3. . . you're telling me it doesn't work with a GeForce 2 GTS?.

I recently purchased a laptop computer that has a Chinese language on it. Everything including the Icons are in Chinese. How do I change to English without knowing what the Chinese characters mean? The computer is running Windows XP.

I recently reformated my PC, and the first things I installed were all my anti-virus/worm software, then the drivers for my modem, and finally any other software(games etc. ) However, since then, I have found a text document in C:\ drive (my only hard drive) called ftp32.
