Half screen in games and on desktop

Excuse me if you find this hard to understand. For the past few months my screen has been flickering after about 20 minutes or so of turning the pc on. Then the screen goes to about half the size and the bottom half is black.

I recently got a new computer with Windows XP Home(had Windows 98). I tried to reinstall my Quickbooks Pro 2001 and I get an error message saying that the data is from a newer version and it won't open my company file.

Installing Windows 2000 on a newly Fdisk'ed Hard Drive

Hey all. Getting sick of Windows 98, so i've decided to go for Windows 2000 Professional, (which I will then upgrade to SP4, possibly via Slipstreaming). My PC is not up to XP minimum specs. I have created the Windows 2000 book disks and they worked fine, and I launched the Win 2000 Setup.

Hello, I know this isn't a 98 forum, however I can't figure this out. I have a Geforce MX 4000. And I have it connected to my television via a S-Video cable. However, the output is only in black and white.

Currently I built my own personal computer that included P4 3. 0 ghz DFI motherboard with a gig of ram dvd-rw drive a ATI Radeon 9600 Shortly after I built the computer, It began to freeze when I ran high quality games.

Slow for some not for others

I work in a lab enviroment. We have 3 servers online, (Main server, Back up, and a NAS) we have about 20 comupters online. The problem that we are seeing is that some users load quickly and others take about 10-15 minutes to load on the same machine.

Ofcourse Norton Ghost isn't a garbage,but So,it's your choice to choose which one is better for you. In my opinion Acronis True Image 8. 0 more flexible and reliable software than Norton Ghost 9.

Windows installed on Drive F.

I built one of those silly shuttle computers for my cousin. There is no floppy drive and I am connecting the hardrive via SATA. The mouse and keyboard are bluetooth. First problem upon boot is that the mouse and keyboard are bluetooth so I have to get replacements for installing everything.

HI All, I am considering buying a copy of Prince Of Persia: Sands of Time, but their site (as well as some people I have talked to) say that my video card will not work with it. I have an Nvidia GeForce4 MX440 128MB 4x AGP video card, which is a very capable card.
