Audio Problem

Hi, my pc stops giving audio output in a while & resumes itself after somtime. I have xp and mandrake installed, & have the problem on both os. I am using on board sound (Original Intel D865GVHZ motherboard) I have installed the latest BIOS update.

Computer doesn't recognise it can burn CDs all of a sudden.

Hello I use Windows XP, and I've always been able to burn CDs as it is installed into the CD drive. However, now whenever I use Windows Media Player 10 to burn CDs, it says No CD or DVD burner has been detected.

Audio Problem After New Clean Install Of XP Pro

New to site! Need Help! Thank You! I installed XP Pro, clean, and wound up with an audio problem. If I play a CD in either drive, (CD-RW/DVD+-RW) audio skips & Pops or hangs up. If I play a MP3 from files it also skips & Pops but does not hang up.

Hey there. I'm trying to get Hexen to play on xp. It loads fine no problems. I can get the sound to work, like the music, but I'm having difficulty getting the sound effects to work (In the part of the setup where you select the soundcard I clicked run music from CD.

I brought a caddy that connect my IDE hard-drive through the USB port on my computer. I followed all the instructions (jumper is set to master but I tried all the combinations) and installed the drivers.

I downgraded from Windows XP to Windows 2000 with SP4 and formatted the whole hard drive. I installed all the updated drivers and direct x 9. 0c, and then some games. I tried to open MUonline, but when I click connect, it just closes out.
