Help! CHKDSK runs on every boot and hangs on 0 percent during stage 4

I rebooted my machine today and chkdsk started to run against my D: drive (which is set up as a slave on the primary IDE channel). I'm not sure why it did that as I never requested it. I have a 80 GB hard drive as my C drive and a 200 GB drive as my D drive.

when loading up windows xp ever thing seems to run normal till i rollover my taskbar and the time capsule just shows. It then takes 1-2 minutes to load up my taskbar and my internet. Im running a workgroup or network with my sister in the other room and dont know if thats causing it.

Why Final Fantasy 7 installation stops at 23% on WinXp?

Hi, I'm trying to do a Maximum install of Final Fantasy VII on my Windows Xp Pro machine and on the first of four CDs the installation freezes at 23%. Anyone have an idea what the cause of this might be or is there a way to do this install manually? BTW, standard install also freezes at 65% ! Thanks all.

OK so here is the prob!!!! I basically threw a comp together with tons of different names brand things etc. At first everything was fine when I was completely finished about maybe a week or two or three things went horribly wrong! Drivers stopped working for my Video Card stuff wouldnt install and sure of no virus.

Well i brought Radeon 9200 PCI 246mb graphixs card off my friend but it dont have the drivers. . . so i downloaded them from ATI ect and it works but when im ingame the screen goes black and i have to restart my computer i have tryed the default driver set up trou windows XP but even then it flickers and wont stop ...

Help! Short of reloading XP (HE) I have tried everything with no luck. When I do an ipcongig I get the same bogus IP address. I have seen several threads regarding this same problem. I have downloaded the utility to clean the registry, but that didn't work either.
