Just purchased a new computer Windows XP Pro, Pentium 4, 512mg ram, integrated sis 661Fx Video Card. This thing constantly crashes when I do any kind of Video Editing or attempt to play any games. I purchased a new Radeon 128mg video card because I just thought my 32mg card wasn't doing the trick.

I have been trying to install Star Trek Judgement Rites on windows ME from the old floppys but everytime i try to install it it tells me there is an error decompressing (Sound Pack 2 I think) and i cant get dos box to work on it, i have it on my old computer but i really dont want to have to zip it.

Windows XP problems in a Windows 2000 Domain

I setup a Windows 2000 Server Domain some time ago. At the time all our machines were running Windows 2000 Workstation. Then we bought some new machines with Windows XP Pro. I joined them to the domain, no problem.

Hi Ive never experienced it before, but I have never heard about it either. I hate error/alert messages with sound, so the first thing I do when i install a clean windows is to disable all such sounds : control panel -> sounds and audio devices -> sounds, and select no sound theme.

I just installed XP Pro into a 5GB partition and in practically no time at all, Windows is telling me that the space is virtually filled up. The funny thing is that when I take the sum total of all the folders in my C drive, it barely reaches 3GB.

What's up. I'm attempting to install win2k DC's on 3 different sites. Each site will have 2 DC's, no child domains. 1 forest, 1 domain. I want AD-integrated DNS zones for each DNS server( each dc running dns ).

My computer has Windows XP, Direct X9. 0, and 1. 7 ghz. When I try to install Might & Magic VII it tells me I have Windows 2000, Direct X, and 113 mhz. After I install it anyway it doesn't allow it to load.

Ok i use jet audio plus to listen to all media files and i selected it my options to be my default player. When i open any media file a window pops up asking with what program i would like to use to open the file i selected jet audio and checked off always open this type of file with this program.
