I'm trying to request a new certificate with the Certificate MMC. This server is also the Certification Authority for our Local network. However, whenever I try this, all I get is an error saying that the wizard cannot be started because there are no CA's, I don't have permissions, or etc.

canon bjc-2100 printer problem

I have a Canon BJC-2100 printer and a new hp pavilion a 700n computer with windows xp on it. Every time I print a picture the color seems to match but you can see the dots that the printer is making leaving a real grainy picture.

Ok. Now i have this problem. When i first got the sims 2 it was working fine. But then i took it to some man to get my computer fixed cuz lots of stuff happened to it. So i installed my sims 2 again and everything is working but there is something wrong with my sims.

Quake 3 Arean on an HP laptop

Quake 3 arena used to work fine on my desktop but on my laptop its just gone bezerk. The mouse is kindda stuck to the top right of the screen and i'm not being able to move it in any direction. The buttons (left and right) are also totally messed.

Hello people, First of all i think you are doing a great job here helping eachother! Now to the point. Does any of you know a way or a software to make windows xp recognize *. ota files (MMS otaBMP files) that come from a mobile phone?.

hi i have desk top which is win98se. all i was doing was trying for this pc to recognize my sony clie PDA as a removable drive. so for that i went to device manager and it said that PCI multimeida audio card or what doesnt have driver.

I can't seem to get half life 2 to load. I keep getting the errors failed to set video mode - resetting to defaults , failed to set video mode - falling back to safe mode settings, and failed to set video mode.

Unwanted Windows XP Reboot request

Hi friends, I have a problem with XP Professional SP2. I'm trying to install Visual Studio Net, but am receiving a message that a program allready issued a reboot request and setup has to terminate untill the system is rebooted and then be repeated.

Strange problem in LAN

Ours is a office LAN working with 28 computers connected to a server running NT Server. When any 0ne or two computers switched off in the LAN (may be xp or 98 or 2000), all other systems in LAN are becoming slow and could not run properly.

Saving data to DVD?

I'm gonna save some things (music, apps, documents) to a DVD-R just because it has the most space and i need a couple gigs to do it. . . how do i go about doing that? Do I need a DVD burning program or what? Actually, I'm not even sure if i have a DVD burner on my computer.

Hello, I usually check this forum when I have problems with older games, but ive come upon one I can't get to work at all. I have Conquest of the New World Deluxe Edition DOS Version, and i've emulated them and mounted them on Daemon Tools.

QFixApp2. 0: I used the Win98 layer for the setup. exe to get the voodoo card detected. Then again used the Win98 layer to start the linked tp. exe! Bingo. . . TP2000 runs on W2K!.

Hard disk cloning question

The setup is basically a Win2KSP4 machine, with Ghost 2003 as the backup application. Normally, just one 80GB HDD is installed (HDD0), but I now wish to clone that to an identical HDD (HDD1), which will then be removed and put into safekeeping as a backup drive.
