Why Did I Keep My Win XP C: Drive at FAT32??

I'm brain dead. When I upgraded to XP a few years ago, I kept my C: drive at FAT32, but converted my D: to NTFS. I converted D: so I could exceed the 4G file limit for video captures. I know I kept C: wit FAT32 for a very specific reason, which for the life of me I can't remember now.

I have Norton 2003 and am about to upgrade to Internet Security 2005. I plan to use the Parental Control feature/Productivity control, which is normal conrolled under a Supervisor account, but I want to give Restricted users (like my son) access to firewall for when he's playing online games.

Hey, I have a real version of Call of Duty: United Offensive, but I have a pirated version of the original Call of Duty. I once had been able to install the UO expansion pack on top of call of duty, but now, after uninstalling it.

Black screen in Half-Life

I have a very big problem. When I'm playing Half-Life, it's all OK. But when I press 'Esc', the black screen appears and nothing. I can press 'Esc' again and I am back to the game. But I can't get to the main menu! Black screen appears in all Half-Life, Half-Life: Opposing Force, and Half-Life: Blue Shift.

svchost.exe blowing up my shit.

When I start up the computer, one of the svchost. exe instances hogs all my cpu and destroys my loading time. I always have to end the task in task manager or else I'll sit here forever waiting for stuff to load.
