I was using my computer today and while trying to load a webpage the computer froze and gave me a BSOD. I restarted and got the message ERROR LOADING OPERATING SYSTEM. I set my bios to all the defaults and only connected my hardrive with operating system to the computer.

Various Games will not install XP

On Installation of various sierra ie Pharoh and Caesar III. I have found that when the setup shield starts it gets to 99% and then stops. The setup sheield disappears and nothing further happens. It does not even get to the stage of installing files.

Quake 2 and The Reckoning on XP

I can't get Quake 2 to install and get an error about the language being incorrect etc. I used the manual method as outlined elsewhere on this forum and Q2 works. I tried to install The Reckoning (Mission Pack) and of course could not install because Q2 was not installed.

Post-cloning of drive, why is bootup so slow?

I've just done a clone of my main hard drive, using Ghost 2003. It appears to be successful, in that I've tested the destination drive, to see if it boots. But the bootup, at one particular point, is extremely slow, taking about FIVE times as long as on the original drive.

I just got my hands on a laptop that still has Windows 95 on it and decided to dig out my The 7th Guest CDs. I installed the game and the Version 1. 30 Patch with no problems. Now, I've gotten to the opening screen with the Ouija board and the mouse pointer doesn't appear anywhere so I'm pretty much stuck there.

In order to get EA Sports Tiger Woods 2000 to work in Win2k you have to delete ws2help. dll from the Tiger Woods directory and you're good to go. .
