i am trying to play a game called chasm-the rift. it is a dos game and im trying to play it on my laptop. it will start but closes because of a ntvdm. exe error. i tried changing the compatibility and it just wont work.

Hi all, I dual boot between win98SE and win2K (and Linux too, but that does not matter for this question). For my mouse (a logitech mx500) under win98SE both buttons on the side are labeled as button 3 or middle mouse button by games.

I hate this stupid program and it came with my computer. I want to know how to delete it because it say that I don't have the authority to delete it and it's my own computer!!! It prevents me from downloading programs, no matter what setting I put it to and even when I log off it does the same thing.

Hi again. I sent a message about heavy gear 2 a week ago. I had a problem on windows xp, because I cannot see on my new PC the ingame menus and cannot shoot. Someone told me problem was normal because this game wasn´t designed for this OS.

I have some large files i'm trying to copy to CD-R. But when i put my cd in the drive, it changes from DVD Ram Drive to CD Drive (D. How do i format my CD so i can store data on it?? I need your help.

Problem installing Red Alert 95!

I'm unable to install Red Alert 95, I have tried changing the compatibility to windows 95 but when ever I click the autorun and select install it starts dos and there I get an error which say that setup.

Hi, I updated my Nvidia drivers from 71. 89 to 81. 85 and now my *. avi files don't play properly (only 2-3 fps), *. mpg works fine. How can I fix this (I have this problem with other drivers higher than 71.

CPU-Z incorrect or is it me?

I ended up getting another 2 sticks of 512 mb corsair xms pc3200 2-2-2-5. I checked cpu z and it said that I'm running my ram at cpu/14 so its about 150mhz. . . it should be 200. I used an older version of cpu z and it reported it running correctly.

I used to have Geforce 4 MX440 and CoD worked fine. Now i bought ATI Radeon 9550 AGP, and CoD freezes 5 seconds into the game. I don't know what to do, already downloaded openGL and Catalyst PLZ HELP! Thx, Dobnick.

When i signed into msn, i spoke to somebody and it came up with something that included a link. . . so naturally i clicked the link and it has now put some sort of a virus onto my computer, which is using my account and sending the same link i recieved to all of my contacts.

i had windows-xp in my com and i had to put a fresh coppy of windows-xp in to my com. i have my windows-xp in my C-drive and all of my documents in my D-drive. it seems i didnt decrypt any of my flies in my D-drive before i put the fresh coppy of the windos-xp.
