Hello. I have a 4mbit dsl connection and it keeps disconnecting every time i start to use it heavy. like starting a download. or something happening in a game. it starts to download. but after a few minuts.

Hi Gang, I love how MS Word 2003 (Service Pack 2) autocompletes : ) >. However, the only problem is it's sticking a bar along the left hand side of the paragraph whenever and wherever I place smilies.

I have an older Gateway(7 yrs old) that originally came with Win98 and I have since gotten a bigger hard drive and installed Win XP Pro. I am now selling this pc and want to install Win98 for the new user(don't ask me why he would want 98,but that was his choice).

Lands of Lore 3 - Sound issues

Hi I have been playing Lands of Lore 3 on a laptop running Windows XP (SP2), and although the game itself runs okay, I keep gettng sound issues. After installing, when I try to play the game the sound is fine for a few minutes then goes all choppy and distorted.

I have xp and motocross madness 2 is downloaded and installed fine. I put the disk in and start to open it. it goes to the black screen and then says microsoft and then rainbow studios. After that it shows a screen with a guy doing a superman.

Hi recently got this game from ebay, but I cannot get it to run stable in xp pro. I've right clciked the desktop short cut and set it run on windows 98 comatibilty but the game still just crash to the desktop.

If I try to play avi files I get lots of lines and large green blocks breaking up the screen. If I play dvd's the sound is really bad. Pictures in Photoshop are all full of lines and some web graphics are pixellated.

ntoskrnl.exe corrupt, access denied in recovery console

I tried to follow instructions on replacing the ntoskrnl. exe file and I received the access denied after typing in the expand string. . . . I then followed instructions and typed this exactly with G as my cd rom drive letter.

Are there any known issues of Windows Media Player 9, under Windows 2000 SP4? I've just updated my WMP v7. 1 to v9. 00. 00. 2980 and I'm blowed if I can get the Radio Tuner to work at all; it's completely dead.

Installing FF7 for Win95 on XP

Hi, I'm having trouble installing Final Fantasy 7 on my XP system. Everytime I try installing using setup. exe, error window appears stating Installation for Microsoft Windows 95 only. Is there a way to work around this or did I simply get a wrong CD?.
