I'm trying to capture uncompressed. avi files (roughly 21 MB/s) of data to a network server. The program I'm using lets me select a drive in XP to write to, it is already mapped to our server, so I imagine this is using SMB for data transfer.

Problem loading profile off domain

Hi, I installed Vista Beta 2 build 5270. I was able to join our windows 2003 domain. But when I log in I get an error telling me that my profile could not be loaded. It then seems to log me in and gives me my own home directory etc but a temporary profile which disappears when I log out.

Ok i have 2 computers ones an XP ones a 2000, On my 2000 whenever it starts up and goes to my desktop, an error message pops up and says The Dynamic link library mscoree. dll could not be found in the specified path then it says the path.

I purchased the game of the year edition version of Half-Life and it wont work online for multiplayer. I purchased it so that i could play it online and it wont work. It says that it cant connect to the server and it says that my version is out of date and i should update it and when i check for updates there are none.

Hello again! I've got another problem which requires your expert council I have Windows XP SP2, and NTFS partitions, on two HDD's. Now - whenever I use shift+delete to erase a certain file, or I delete the file without passing it trough the Recycle Bin (some progam deletes it, for instance), I get no disk space back.

Hi! Has anyone experienced problems with Matrox Millenium II PCI on Windows XP? I cannot force Direct 3D to work. When I was using Windows 98 or Me, I could smoothly run games with Direct 3D, but now I can't.

The save as function in IE - unlike Firefox - doesn't remember the last choice, so when I'm manually saving a page in the only html format (the most of my savings) I don't have to select this format every time, out of the default full page option.

I recently installed Sims 2 Nightlife and from the very beginning my game was crashing. It worked fine before I installed the new expansion pack, so it was very odd. I fixed that problem by manually uninstalling the game from the registry, and I reinstalled it.
