Final Fantasy 8 graphics issue

I got final fantasy 8 PC version working under windows XP, but when I play there are horizontal lines about every inch across the screen. I have tried all of the 'compatability' modes, and have the latest drivers for my card and such.

Will clearing the CMOS help with IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL errors?

I kept getting numerous resets for no apparent reasons, and sometimes with the IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, Beginning Physical Memory Dump nonsense I formatted my HDD last nite and it was working without a hitch for a few hours.

Looking for old 3DFX tools software for my Voodoo3

I just threw in my ghetto Voodoo3 card so I can play Final Fantasy VII after forever, found the best 3rd party drivers for WinXP, but can't seem to find the 3DFX tools so I can tweak the setting. Used to use something I think was called 3DFX Underground Tools that let me overclock and everything.

system restore link and help not working

Hi - I had a problem with adware corrupting my registry. This caused a problem with my system restore app displaying a blank screen. I was able to repair the problem with the blank screen but now the system Restore Settings link as well as the help buttons do nothing when selected.

Win XP Firewall stalling downloads?

I've recently noticed that after enabling the WinXP Firewall, my downloads end up stopping midway through in both Firefox and IE. Generally I notice it on larger files, but it happens consistently. Once I turn off the XP firewall, all is good again.

I am not a computer pro here, but I know a fair amount and would love any help I can get. Here is the problem: I have installed my Nvidia GeForce MX4000 (PCI slot) and in the manual it says Turn off computer, put in the card, plug monitor into card, turn computer on.

Alright so I decided to install FF8 on my new PC. It worked, everything is playing perfectly, the Cinematics are great, my problem is that when I actually Get into the game, well it screws up, I mean, I can still play, but the graphics are horrible, see for yourself.

Ulead crashes to desktop...

Just loaded MF4 and it has now crashed to the desk top at various points in the program (while I'm trying to burn dvd's) for about the 5th time (and frustrating the begeebs outta me). I run Windows XP with Pinnacle DV500 card and a gig of RAM.
