Hi, I've tried to install this excellent game under w2k. No problem with the installation. But, when I run it, I can see the introduction (producers an developpers)and after a wonderful black screen.

Reformatting hard drive?

Newbie here. I have a Dell 8200, which I have had for a while. It is starting to get slow, and I want to completely erase everything, re-format the hard drive, and re-install Windows XP. I have the Windows XP disk, but have just recently gotten into computers, and have no idea where to begin.

i cant install v_springfield. . . there is only: not enough space on hard disk (670kb). . . well over 10gbavailable i tried it in compatibility mode (95,98 and NT) but nothing helps. . . ps: i got win2000prof.

so im on an xp system, ive set cpu and no hardware cursor but im getting flickering lines on the movies, intro screen and battles that are just strips that flash and make the game unplayable, one note when leaving the options screen there is a brief pause when it is fine (presumably when it switches modes)

Took me almost forever to find the patch. Damn fileplanet, ign, gamespy, gamespot for charging a monthly fee to d/l a friggin' patch. Finally found it here. It is a. exe so I just double-clicked it. It then prompt me to Locate system to update.

I got a DOSBox program to run my Kings Quest 6 game on and I can't seem to figure out how to run or install KQ6. I tried the instruction that come with the game but I can't get it to work. Can someone please help me?.
