I'm seeing an issue with Vista and some wireless USB devices. Upon returning from either standby or hibernate (S3 and S4), the OS tells the BIOS to issue a bus reset. First of all, this breeches Windows Logo Device Requirement Protocol.

increas inbound conectns in xp home printer share

I am using a win xp home computer to print withdrawal slips in my warehouse. This printer is a receipt printer. More than 10 computers in the network may try to print to this shared printer. Basically, this is what this computer does - its a print server.

Core 2 Duo vs. Pentium D ~ Help

I currently have the Pentium D dual core 920 (2 x 2. 8GHz 4MB cache, 65nm, 800MHz BUS). I am about to receive a Core 2 Duo E6300 (2 x 1. 8GHz 2MB cache, 65nm, 1066MHz BUS). I wondering which is going to be faster as I can just pop either chip in my board.

vista had better be good because i find that xp is one of the most annoying operationg systems around. trouble is that most games dont work on anything else. if anyone else feels the same way please back me up here.

Old C640 + New 128 MB ATI Radeon Mobility 9000

Hi everyone, I have a 4 year old C640 with a 32MB ATI M7 video card. Plainly stated this cards sucks. I have talked to a dell representative and he informed me that my C640 MBD should be able to accept up to 128 MB of Video Memory.

Using local users and groups in WinXP Home

Hey I'm on Windows XP home and whenever i try to use the local users and groups part of Computer Management it says You cannot use this on winxp home blah blah blah. . . . Is there anyway I can get it to work cos I could really do with it - the most annoying thing is the admins account is always disabled.

i like type in the activation code and everything and then this sign comes up and says there is not enought space available on drive to install the game. please free up some space or change the target location to a differen't disk, and i try to delete things but theres nothing else to delete and it wont load.
