Does anyone know where to get the elusive patch for the second DK? I would like to plaay the patched version, with the upgrades, I believe it is 1. 7. Anyways, no one seems to have it anymore, and all the major sites are gone.

HP 3100 printer sharing on home network

I inherited a HP Laserjet 3100 and cannot get it to work on my home network. It works fine from the PC to which it is directly connected. The operating system of that PC is Windows Me. I have two laptops running Windows XP; they are connected to the network via a Linksys wireless access point.

Help intalling Red Alert 1 on XP

I know there are a lot of topics about installing Red Alert on XP, but my case is different. When I click install, the disk spins and the cursor shows the hourglass, but after a few seconds, nothing happens.

Just wanted some opinions of good spam software to use with Outlook Express. My mom gets both her work and personal emails on her home PC. Even after deleting over 50 emails this morning, when she logged on this evening she had almost 200 to sift through.

Mozilla Thunderbird. Memory Hog?

Recently I've started leaving mozilla thunderbird running in the background while using my computer. I've been noticing thunderbird has been slowing down quite a bit and I recently realized its sucking up over 40 megs of memory! Does that sound normal for such a small simple program?.

I have a dell laptop with Windows XP. The total amount of memory my hard drive can hold is 60 GB. Somehow, I only have 1 GB of space left on it. I've checked all of my files and folders and all together they should only add up to 15 GB.

Can anybody explain to me the precise circumstances under which Norton Ghost should be configured to load USB drivers, prior to a partition imaging exercise? I've recently introduced a USB-connected external hard drive into my system and yesterday imaged my root partition to another, reserved one, on the same drive.

just hear beep sound in my laptop ,when i go to the volume control it says - Volume Control - There are no active mixer devices available. To install mixer devices, go to Control Panel, click Printers and Other Hardware, and then click Add Hardware.

Can't even install FIFA 2000 in Windows XP

I put my CD in the drive and it gives me a menu where I select Install. Nothing happens. I go to Setup folder on the CD and try to run setup. exe from there, same result. I have Windows XP and have tried Win 95/98 compatibility mode without help.
