USB MP3 Error

I have just bought a new MP3 player and a CD with music to put on. I connect it up to the computer with everything done properly, and then the mouse freezes. The first time i connected it up a little balloon saying New hardware found.

Problem w/ Starcraft - auto minimizingin XP

Hi, I installed Starcraft, Brood War, and the newest 1. 14 patch. Everytime I start the game (double-click on the shortcut or run the CD) it opens the startup screen then automatically minimizes to my task bar.

Every time I open outlook express I also get the aol instant messenger to open. It is disabled as far as I can tell in the options box in express. Not sure where it is coming from. Am running windows xp on a hp computer with dsl.

i have a problem. i figured a way to get my saved games to work i switched the compatble mode to win98. . . that works fine but now when i start the game in 320x240 res the menu and movies are real slow but not the gameplay.

A while ago my computer started going nuts, one program after the other had to be shut down. Also there were weird files with german names on my computer and i don't use that language, so i figured there was a virus and decided to format c: with windows and everything on it.

formatting problem have a compaq presario 1655 crash=i fdisk then format after 5-6 hours it will terminated don't have recovery disk have boot 98 and window 98 cd that i bought hp and compaq are no help going crazy trying to get this up an running help-why wont it format all the way.

Call of duty opengl problem

I cant run call of duty because of a opengl problem on windows 98SE. First it said that i need a compatiable video driver so i installed one. Then afterwards a message saying Could not openGL. make sure that you have the latest drivers for your video card from the manufacture's website but it didn't work.

I just had windows re-installed on my PC and whenever I connect a USB device it makes that Do-Dum sound but nothing else happens - it doesn't install my hardware. The only way it will work is if I enter device manager right click on the device (which has a question mark icon) and select Update Driver.
