MSDN Vista Install Trial without Product Key

I have the MSDN Vista DVD which is suppose to contain all versions of Vista. I was thinking of testing it out on the my Dell Inspiron 6400. As I have search around and have understand that I am suppose to be able to install Vista without using a product key and I would get a 30 day trial.

I'm wondering what QoS does, under WinXP Home. Anyone know? You can find this setting at both: Tools/Internet Options/Connections tab/Settings/Properties/Networking tab and Control Panel/Network Connections/Local Area Connection.

A client on the network has been continuously experiencing an error with Outlook. This usually happens when she opens an e-mail (sometimes when closing). Outlook freezes and then eventually just illegally closes, which yields an error message.

i cant install windows xp .why ?

when i try to install the windows xp ,works untill the system copy the windows files at 56% or 57%. and then cannot copy the rest of the files. if i ignore the files it appear an error on the blue background, something about the video adapter.

As of today (25th Jan 2007), am I correct in thinking that Microsoft's Defender is now completely out of beta testing and is now a fully-fledged add-on? How reliable is it, working under WinXP? IE6 SP1 surely already includes anti-popup, so why is it also included in Defender?

This is more of a curiosity question. I've noticed that when an e-mail with attachments arrives from an external source, the e-mail's total size will be significantly larger than the combined total of the attachments.

I have 2 Pcs connected to a router. The router is connected with a modem with internet (dsl connection) I uninstalled the Avast antivirus and then, while the modem seems to work fine, the router seems to be dis-configured, or anyway, its not working.

Friend has a dell dimension 2400 and it wont turn on,i took the side case off and pluged in the power cord and then pluged in for the internet. then started to hook up the monitor and it was very loose where you screw in for it to stay in tight.

Hi, Xp doesn't want to shut down. . it goes till windows is shutting down and then just stands still. . . i think it's the usb modem were using cause if i disable or unplug windows actually shuts down.
