My laptop fell

My laptop fell on my floor and though it wasn't a hard fall, it still seemed to be affecting my computer. First everything went well, but then when I decided to restart my computer it went blank on me and this message came up.

Problems installing ATI Radeon 9550

I have a Gigabyte K8U939 motherboard that doesn't want to accept my graphics card. The Radeon instructions say to download the latest chipset from Gigabyte, which I think I'm doing, but maybe not, since their website doesn't have the best English.

simple fax program

I am tired of typing bids and then standing at the fax machine and faxing to 15 different numberes. Any suggetion on a simple fax program that will broadcast fax. do not want to use MS outlook. I will not ever recieve a fax via PC, I just want to be able to send them.

Connecting Pc to LAN

Hi, I need to connect a PC to the existing LAN. I have already install the TP/IP. I have input the IP Address and the submask according to the established rules. Computer Name and workgroup have been entered as per the establisged rules.

USB Adapter

I just bought one of those usb adapter that connects to the usb header on the motherboard. When I power the computer on, I notice little sparks coming off the metal plate. Is there a way to fix this?.

Using router as switch

Hey So, here is the thing. Downstairs in my flat complex there is a friend who want to setup a router as a Internet sharing point. I tried setting his router up so that it will share the connection, normally i have no problem with this (since i have 2 set up in my apartment on two dsl connections.

Graphics card transfer

My Mums computer has just come back from the repair shop and i have found out that she has a NVIDEA gfx card, which is what i need to play call of duty. Im wondering if there is any way i could copy it or somehow transfer it so that it is on my mums computer and my computer without corrupting the computers.

Windows Vista - Laptop Sensor pad / Mouse Options

I just bought a brand new HP Laptop, came equipped with Windows Vista Home Premium. So far 2 problems. I'm not sure if its a bug in the OS or if its a problem only I'm experiencing. I right click the desktop and go to the Personalization (used to be called properties) menu.

how to hitman codename 47 with xpsp2

Do not attempt to install from the install popup. Exit out of that and open the drive that the hitman codename 47 disk is in. Find the setup icon and right click it with your mouse cursor. Next, click on properties at the bottom of the selections.

Admin profiles with numbers 000,001 etc on W2KS

Please advise on this issue: After a hard disk File Allocation Table failure, I reinstalled W2KServer on the drive c: without reformatting the drive. Everything works now, except that in the Documents and Settings, I find additional profiles such as Administrator.
